Bed Rest

Mummy been told to bed rest for 2 days. So, went back to stay at Poh Poh's house and leave your Che Che to Daddy to take care.

It wasn't really a full bed rest but without staircase and taking care of your Che Che, it really helped a lot in resting and recovery.

So far, no more bleeding (fresh blood) but remaining stain. Thank goodness you are coping well and kicking actively.

Mummy been asked not to swim and do heavy activity for the next few days. Maybe in a week time, we can go back to the pool again as Mummy really need to build up stronger muscle to support our weight.

At Week 29 & 3 Days...

Mummy bleed just like when I carried your Che Che.

This timenn't round, we were more calm because:

1) I sort of 'expect' this to happen
2) It wasn't a heavy blood flow like your Che Che. Infect, Mummy lie down immediately to monitor the condition for 30 mins before deciding to head to hospital
3) Mummy drove to hospital ALONE because Daddy needs to take care of Che Che while everyone were away from home
4) Daddy is less 'panic' and allowed Mummy to drive to hospital alone

So, what caused the bleeding:
1) No sign of placenta previa
2) No sign of cervix dilating
3) It's tiredness that caused it!!

Mummy been given 3 japs (forgot the name of the medicine) for 3 days to speed up the growth of your lung, in case we need to take you out from Mummy's womb (which is the last resort).

Don't come out now as you are not due until 8 weeks, the earliest!

Btw, you are a BIG baby. You are 35 weeks in your head circumference and 33 weeks big in your overall body size. You are 2.1kg now! Looks like Mummy has to cut down on my diet so that it's easy to deliver you naturally.

Almost 7 Months...

Mummy is almost entering into 7 months of pregnancy.

The feels of your kicks and punches are getting stronger each day. At times, I can see you moving even from the outside of my tummy. :-)

Since last 2 weeks, Mummy started to get tired easily. Not only that, the pubic synthesis symptoms are surfacing, especially when I stand up. Partly because you are growing bigger each day and with the weight that I need to carry you, it is no surprise to have the recurrence of this problem. Yup, it's recurrence because when I carried Che Che, I also had the same problem.

Mummy just hope you are growing well and healthy inside mummy's tummy even I have to suffer the pains and aches. It's worth and I know it will pay back.

Love you, Baby.

Scrapbooking

Since I had made so many scrapbook layouts and mini albums for your Che Che, I also need to make the same thing for you, to be fair. :-)

I can't imagine how busy I will be when you make your grand entrance. What's more, we do not know how your Che Che will react with your arrival. Hence, I decided to start whatever I can right now, so that in the near future, I just need to paste your photo(s) on the LO and add some embellishment.

For now, this is what I had made for you.

1) Maze Book - Christmas theme

2) Maze Book - Photos with Daddy

3) 6X6 Album - Hadyai Home Trip
Unfinished LO on the cover page as your names were supposed to be stick on the brown color paper. Since Daddy haven't nod his head in agreeing your name as Ching Sean, so I have to leave it blank for now. I guess putting your name should be fast though.

4) Month-by-Month Album
Same thing, no names yet on the cover page. However, all inner pages are ready. Just need to paste photo and add some embellishment.

Daddy complimented mummy made better LO this round compared with your Che Che. :-)

Few inner pages:
1) 1st page: on your birth particulars

2) I plan to bring this book to hospital so that I can get the nurse to help to print your tiny and foot on the book.

November Check Up

You were 25 weeks old but from the check up, your head and body seem to be 1 week bigger than your age.

Dr Eric "claime"d you have a long leg. It was at 27 weeks! From the Oct check up, you were 3 weeks ahead of baby at your age on your leg.

You were turning with your head down during the check up but we all know you can still move around. Still ample space in mummy's tummy, huh!

We brought Che Che along but she didn't seem to understand what's going on! She just kept on smiling and calling out mummy's name.

Oh ya, just within 4 weeks, Mummy put on 3kg!!!! Gosh, must be too much food! With that, Mummy has gained 10kgs since carried you.

Well, this is the time mummy can eat without much 'controlling'. hahaha..

Active Baby

Compare with his Che Che, Sean is an active baby. Almost round the clock, he is kicking actively inside mummy's womb. Even when I woke up middle of the night to attend to his Che Che, I can feel his movement!

Well, this is a good sign, according to the gynae. I am sure it is!

Just want to record down the similarities and differences of the 2 pregnancies:

Similarities:
- Meat eater
- "Fan Tong' (love rice)

Differences:
- Vomit badly and get very tired easily during the 1st trimester
- So far no constipation problem
- Drink less milk
- Consume more coffee (still within the limit per gynae's guideline)
- Didn't consume any bird nest.
- Burn more calories because of taking care of Che Che

The Beginning...

When I was pregnant with Ern, I wrote on a diary on my feelings/Ern's progress almost every day. Only started the blog for Ern when she was 5-months-old.

This time with Ching Sean, I don't have the time to write on a diary like what I used to do, especially on weekdays. To be fair, I decided to start this blog for Sean early, as a way to 'compensate' him!

Yes, we got to know baby # 2 is a boy in early Oct 2008. So you may ask, why Ching Sean.Well, it has been the name that I have decided for baby # 2, be it boy or girl, the Chinese name pronouncian will be the same.

Boy: Ching Sean (靖轩)
Girl: Ching Syuann (婧萱)

I wanted the last name to be able to turn into a English name easily, just like their sister Ching Ern.Well, I am not sure if this is the name we shall used as Daddy has yet to nodd his head on this name.

Will see...
