At 34 weeks Day 6

Mummy had a very bad gastric pain. It was so painful till i can't wait till the next morning to see Dr Eric.

So, we were at Island Hospital to see Dr Eric AGAIN at 4am! Poor Dr Eric, has to come in on the 4th day of CNY to see mummy.

Cervix still hang on at 2.5cm dilation. Mummy been given special gastric pill to ensure it doesn't kill off the contraction medication I am taking. :-(

Whole night can't sleep because of the tightening sensation.

Hang on there..

At 33 weeks Day 6

Mummy has another round of contraction. This time, it's stronger.

So, we headed to Dr Eric's clinic again. Cervix still hang on at 2.5cm but contraction is strong. Dr Eric can tell it's contraction by touching on Mummy's tummy.

Prescribed the same medication but this time, increase the intake frequency from one every day to twice everyday for the 1st 48 hours!

According to Dr Eric, as long as Mummy hit WW34, then consider 'safe' as you have the weight!

Hang on there, baby.

At 33 weeks Day 2

Just on the next day, the contraction came in a little stronger and frequent. Although it was a mild one and happened only like 90mins once, Mummy took extra care by seeing Dr Eric to check things if it is ok.

As Daddy need to watch over Che Che, Mummy went to see Dr Eric alone (again!). It wasn't as calm as the previous bleeding experience as Mummy didn't have experience for early contraction. However, I wasn't that panicked either but just stayed focus.

Things still remained the same..cervix is not that thin and still dilated at 2.5cm. Dr Eric prescribed a medicine to stop the contraction while it may also brought some side effect to Mummy, ie lower down the blood pressure that may cause dizziness/headache.

Well, as long as can keep you stay in Mummy's tummy for little longer, nothing matters to me anymore!

At 33 weeks Day 1

Somehow there is a difference between the date calculated by Dr Eric vs the ticker. According to Dr Eric, you are already 33 weeks and 1 day old but the ticker shows you only at 32 weeks 1 day old.

Anyway, mummy's cervix is dilated at 2.5cm as of now. Been put on CTG to track the contraction but there was no sign of showing. However, Mummy was asked not to walk so much while also need to monitor the contraction pattern.

Hang on there, baby!! Don't come out until the right date, ok??!!!

Getting Clumpsy

Yes, Mummy is getting clumsy these days, mainly because you are growing bigger!

Walked in the turtle speed with both legs open slightly like a penguin. The pubic synthesis is getting more severe now, means every time when I get up from a sitting position, it will pulled and ached for a while before the muscles get relax. Mummy is expecting the pulling and aches will get even more worst as it draws near your delivery.

Can start to feel the loosing muscle relax around pelvis area as the body is starting to transition into delivery mode now, to welcome you of cause.

Yup, after ~ 10 rounds of laundry, Mummy has gotten all your clothes and cloth diapers washed, fold and separated into 2 categories - 0-6 months & 6-12 months.

Next is to pack mummy's bag to the hospital, with your new suits to wear home and some mummy's stuff.

Hang on there, baby! Don't come out until you are at least week 37 old, ok??!!!!

Psst...Today is Mummy's birthday!

Braxton Hicks

At 31 weeks and 4 days old, Mummy started to have Braxton Hicks contraction.

Started to feel stomach rigid and hard that cause discomfort in the center of the belly, which then radiates downwards. At times, it was painful due to your kicks/punches as I can feel your movement.

Since I don't have this problem during your Che Che's time, Mummy had to do some reading to confirm, while also prepare when is the right timing to see Dr Eric.

Well, Mummy really hope this is really a REAL Braxton Hicks as you are NOT suppose to say hi to us until at least 5 weeks time. Else, you will be a premature baby and it's not good for you.

Hang on there, baby!

Backache

Yes, the backache is back as you grow bigger and bigger each day. I started to feel the ache starting this week as the pressure is getting stronger!

Well, I am waiting for the day when I need to lie down frequently towards the last few weeks before your grand entrance. :-)

Your kicks are getting stronger too, at times really can make me 'fly to the sky" type.

You are definitely an active baby because you kicked almost round the clock. So Mummy had prepared to welcome an active baby! :-)

Getting Tired Easily

Ever since the incident of bleeding, Mummy get tired easily - backache, tight tummy, body ache, visit the loo more frequent, breathless, etc

I guess you are growing bigger inside mummy now, which make my mobility very limited. Another 7 more weeks (to hit the safe zone) to go, then I can safely deliver you at full term.

Hang on there, baby!
